Apture – A Media Rich Plugin For Any CMS

If you are paying attention to the Twittersphere you will notice some attention about a new CMS plugin called Apture. I installed it to give it a go and this post is to showcase its features. This tool could add a lot to keeping readers on the page and increasing sales, its possible implications are hard to ignore. Go ahead click on any of the links and see for yourself what Apture can do for your blog.

Time to install plugin

Literally about 3 minutes

Update

It does seem a little slow on the page, however this is to be expected due to the amount of HTTP requests it must take. I must admit that I have been pleasantly surprised by Apture and I think I will continue to use it for two main reasons.

  1. Readers do not need to leave the page to delve into my links
  2. It is a great workaround on any copyright images/media that help make a post more engaging

Really I’m impressed and I think I will continue to use it
